Jessie loves horses and loves trail rides so she was pretty stoked when she heard they were offered here.

We got up and going quickly this morning to get in a shuttle van at 8:30 for a three-hour trail ride through Red Canyon. Overall it was fun, but a bit on the boring side. Jessie is an experienced rider and got stuck with a slow horse that really needed to be prodded to keep going. She was a little bummed. I kept getting lulled into wondering how many cowboys rode while sleeping.

The scenery was nice, though, and apparently we rode past the remains of a Butch Cassidy hideout.
